Tristan Crees has over 20 years of experience in subsea robotics. He previously worked for both International Submarine Engineering and Cellula Robotics.
Tristan has been involved in the design, build, test & operation of several Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV)s delivered to a variety of clients including: Ifremer (France), MUN (Canada), USM (USA), MARUM (Germany) and DRDC (Canada). He has also worked on several remotely operated seafloor drilling systems for mineral exploration and a variety of other harsh environment robotics projects.
His expertise is primarily in the Control Systems (software & electrical) side of things as well as mission planning, operations and fault analysis.
Tristan has a degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Monash University in Australia.
